What are cookies?

EBS uses a tool called Google Analytics to collect information about the use of EBS websites, such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit, and what other websites they visited prior to coming to our site. EBS uses this information only to improve our websites.

Google Analytics uses “cookies” to determine how users navigate EBS websites. Cookies are small data files used to track website activity. When you visit a website, your browser stores a cookie from that website. Google Analytics uses this cookie data for various purposes, including the evaluation of website use, reports on website activity, and other services.

What cookies does EBS use?

Generally, the only cookie information EBS collects with Google Analytics is your IP address and the date you visited our website. EBS does not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone other than Google.

Some forms on EBS’s websites require the use of Google's reCAPTCHA service before they can be submitted. If you consent to use Google's reCAPTCHA service, a cookie is created that stores your consent. This cookie deletes itself after 30 days.
